Having been serving homes and businesses within and beyond Massachusetts South Shore for over 30 years, our widely trusted landscape and irrigation company loves getting involved in community events. In fact, this past Sunday, our team was excited to be part of Scituate’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade as it made its way to Scituate Harbor. Of course, the crew at Landscaping By J. Michael weren’t the only ones eager for parade day, as the town of Scituate, which is often referred to as the Irish Riviera, had been counting down since last week, when the parade was postponed due to bad weather.
This year, Landscaping By J. Michael employee, Nate, drove the company truck along Scituate’s parade route, with his kids by his side. Nate’s job was to pull The Brown Brothers Band, which kept everyone well entertained as the LJM truck inched its way from First Parish Road to Front Street. From the backseat, it was Nate’s kids’ job to toss candy out the window for parade-goers to catch, and needless to say, they had a, “Whale of a time!” As the parade wrapped up on Jericho Road, our crew was a bit worn out from the 2 mile-long festivities, but it was memorable day for the people of Scituate, and for all parade participants.
So as it turns out, landscaping and irrigation are not our only areas of expertise here at Landscaping By J. Michael, as we successfully put together another fantastic parade float to entertain onlookers of all ages! But as much fun as we had over the weekend, it’s back to work here at our Marshfield office and on-site throughout Massachusetts and beyond. Finally, April’s just around the corner, and now that we’ve completed our parade route, we’re well into planning our maintenance routes!
